Plywood

Plywood is a sheet which is made from thin layers of wood. These thin (1.5mm to 2.5 mm) layers of wood is called core. When these cores are glued and stacked in alternate directions layer by layer to form plywood. Front and back side is covered by very thin layer (about 0.5mm) of wood veneer which is known as face of ply.

Ply

Ply is commonly used in construction and manufacturing. We see this magic material being used in home interiors and large buildings. In fact, some versions of plywood are also used in shipbuilding.

Uses of Ply

  • Doors, Flooring
  • Framing, Joinery, Panelling, Interior, Portal Frames,
  • Rails and Balustrades, Shear walls, Stairs, Exterior, Stairs.

Blockboard

Blockboard is made up of softwood strips and veneers. They are manufactured by placing softwood strips edge to edge and sandwiched between veneers and then this sandwich is glued together with high pressure.

16 mm, 19 mm, 25 mm, 35 mm and 50 mm

Uses of Blockboard

  • Blockboards are generally used to make wardrobe doors, doors, paneling, and partition walls. Blockboard is mostly used when there is lengthy piece of wood is required.

Flush Door

A flush door has a basic structure composed of solid blockboard core, vertical stiles, and horizontal rails that create a pre-fixed frame. The blockboard is composed of wooden strips that are placed edge-to-edge and sandwiched between veneers, then bonded under high pressure and temperature using a synthetic resin.

25 mm, 30 mm, 35 mm

Uses of Flush Door

  • It is commonly used in residential as well as public building.

Film Faced Shuttering Ply

Film Faced Shuttering Ply is the special plywood with two sides coated with wearable and water proof film. The function of the film is to protect the inside wood from moisture, water, weather and extend the plywood’s service life. Film faced plywood can be used in harsh and outside environment.

12mm - 24Kg, 30Kg, 34Kg, 38Kg

18mm- 32Kg, 42Kg, 45Kg, 52Kg, 57Kg

Uses of Film Faced Shuttering Ply

  • It is being used widely in the construction of bridges, flyovers, metro projects, ship building, water tanks, cooling towers, all high rise buildings etc., which need maximum strength and security.
